Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, during his latest report to the city council, talked about the recent Amber Alert issued out of Buffalo that ultimately had a positive outcome.
During the month of March there were 2,598 calls including 911 calls handled by dispatch, resulting in eight arrests, five of which were for DUIs.
Bissett reported that police officers have already used one dose from their recently-acquired NARCAN kits during a possible overdose, and said it has already made a huge difference in the community.
