The Brinton Museum, located in Big Horn, WY. will present three new exhibits opening in September featuring works by three Lakotan artists and five national artists participating in this year’s Artists in Residence group show.
Sept. 2 – Oct. 30, Last of the Lakota Dream Catchers: The Art of Roger Broer and Richard Red Owl, in the S. K. Johnston, Jr. Family Gallery.
Sept. 3 – Oct. 31, Vitreous Visions: The Glass Art of Angela Babby, in the Northern Trust Gallery.
Sept. 10 – Oct. 30, Artists in Residence in the Jacomien Mars Reception Gallery features Gabrielle Reeves, Stefan Savides, Kathy Wipfler, Lloyd Kelly, and Benjamin Johnson.
A reception to meet the participating artists takes place on Sept. 10, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is offered free and is open to the public.
