The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) has applied for funding through a Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity, or RAISE grant from the federal government.
The Sheridan County Commission, at their recent regular meeting, ratified a Letter of Support for the grant application.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, SC Commissioner Lonnie Wright gave some details surrounding the reason for the letter.

Addressed to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, Pete Buttigieg, the letter of support is assisting a WYDOT request for funding which will pay for the US87/WYO335/Coffeen Avenue project.
Wright explained the project’s goal.
