A Sheridan man is accused of punching a woman in the face and pulling a knife on her.

39-year old Wilson Pischasaca has pleaded not guilty to one charge of aggravated assault and battery and one charge of domestic battery.

Investigators with the Sheridan Police Department say in middle-July, officers responded to a 911 hang-up call that came from the 14-hundred block of South Thurmond Street.

The victim told police she had three children with Pischasaca and she received a call from him saying he was going to come to her house and take the kids.

The kids were home at the time of his arrival, and did not answer the door.

The age of the children are unknown and it is unknown if anyone else was inside.

The victim returned home a short time later and Pischasaca punched her in the face, and pulled out a pocket knife.

Two witnesses that were in the victim’s vehicle got out and chased Pischasaca away.

While police were on scene, Pischasaca threatened the victim via text messages.

Pischasaca was eventually arrested.

He is being held on $10,000 bond and a trial date has been set for January 8th, 2024.
