A 30-year-old Sheridan woman was arraigned on a number of charges Tuesday in Fourth Judicial District Court. Jade Roundstone pleaded not guilty to one count of felony aggravated assault and battery and two counts of misdemeanor battery. District Court Judge Darci Phillips scheduled a three-day, #5 stack jury trial to begin on November 12. A pretrial conference will be held October 15 at 10 am. A motion to lower Roundstone’s bond was denied by the Court.

Roundstone was arrested by Sheridan Police on May 17, 2024 for an altercation that started over a “twerking” battle at a residence on Canby Street where Roundstone allegedly brandished a knife in a threatening manner and battered several people during the fracas. If convicted of all three crimes, Roundstone faces up to 11 years in prison and fines of up to $11,500.
