Buffalo Gets Funding Award for Wells Project

During their recent meeting, the Buffalo City Council was given an update on a funding application to help with Buffalo Wells Project.

City Works Director Kevin Silbernagel said the city was awarded funding through the Wyoming Water Development Commission’s Sponsor’s Contingency Fund.

According to Resolution No. 1485, the Buffalo Wells Transmission Project

was awarded at a cost of 40% above the engineer’s estimate, and the WWDC Sponsor Contingency Funds were applied for to help offset the inflated cost of the city’s project.
