JO CO First to be Discussed at July 15 City-County Meeting

During the announcements section of the Buffalo City Council meeting, Councilwoman Myra Camino asked for a discussion to be had concerning JO CO First and the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.

According to discussion at the county commission meeting, JO CO First was originally created for economic development organization but has essentially become building management. The idea is to create a different organization for the management of the properties and re-designate JO CO First as an economic development organization.

The city and county will begin discussions on the issue at the meeting Tuesday.

Mayor Shane Schrader also announced that the City-County meeting would be July 15 at 7 a.m., the next City Council meeting will be the same day at 5 p.m., and Planning and Zoning Board meeting will be July 22 at 1 p.m.
