At the Hospital board meeting this week, Amie Holt Care Center Director of Nursing JoAnn Kay reported on the census at the facility.
In her written report, she said said the care center is currently at an occupancy rate of 80.91% with the current census of 38 residents and an average stay of 690.51 days.
She reported that staffing continues to show gradual improvement as summer approaches.
They have had one CNA and one LPN graduate from school so far this year and are now on the facility’s schedule.
She was asked about WanderGuard BLUE, and she said it will be installed early in June and completed in a matter of weeks.
WanderGuard BLUE is a system that monitors residents in the facility to keep them from leaving without the staff’s knowledge.
