Johnson County’s Commissioners approved and accepted an Emergency Management Performance Grant (EMPG) through the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security.

County Emergency Management Coordinator James Cataline brought the agreement before the commission for their consideration.

According to wyo.gov, the purpose of the Emergency Management Performance Grant is to assist state and local governments in enhancing and sustaining all-hazards emergency management capabilities.
