The Johnson County Rural Health Care District Board got their first look at preliminary budget figures for their 2022-23 Fiscal Year.
Chairman Marilyn Connolly discussed the budget with the board during the meeting.
The rough numbers show proposed revenues of $1,076,000, with district-wide expenses of $191,450.
The Buffalo EMS proposed contract for the year is listed as $750,000 and Kaycee Ambulance will provide their proposed budget at the board’s next meeting.
The board chose to wait until their next meeting to schedule work sessions for the budget.
The budget timeline for the district shows more discussion on the preliminary budget and approval of the annual contract amount with Buffalo EMS at their April meeting; approval of their preliminary budget at their May meeting; and finalization of their budget and setting a date for their budget hearing during their meeting in June.
