Sheridan County OKs Grant Award Amendment

The Sheridan County Commission has approved and accepted an amendment to an existing grant award agreement with the Wyoming Office of Homeland Security.

County Administrative Director Renee Obermueller explained why the amendment was necessary.

According to the amendment, the original agreement, dated January 10, 2020 was for roughly $36,000 including a local in-kind match of just over $7,000 which was to be expended by September 30, 2021.

Amendment One, dated August 5, 2021, extended the agreement until September 30, 2022 and this amendment extends it to September 30, 2023.
