The Bighorn National Forest has announced that its interpreters have put together an educational series of programs for visitors this summer.
The Bighorn National Forest has many points of interest, such as the Camp 6-Bruce Creek Interpretive Site and Woodrock Sawmill Interpretive Site. Many of these sites have informative signs that help to educate visitors on historical events, buildings or persons that have an impact on the area.
This series of programs will explore and educate visitors on many of those significant sites in the Bighorn National Forest. According to the BNF, the first of these programs within the series will take place beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, at Bald Mountain Campground. The program, Ancient Hunters of the Bighorns: Atlatl Program, will be presented by Kelsey Bean.
