News – Sheridan Media
State Representative Barry Crago (R-Johnson, Sheridan Counties) is in Cheyenne for the legislative session, and will be talking with Sheridan Media giving weekly updates on happenings with the legislature.
Today he talks about the first couple of weeks beginning slowly and progressively getting busier.
He explained how bills move through the house.
Crago said its been a bit slower than usual in the house so far because of the many freshman representatives there are this year, although he is not blaming them, saying they are just trying to learn the process and procedures.
Nearly half of the body in the house is new members, he said, but added that in a week or two “they’ll have it figured out and we’ll be moving full speed ahead.”
