Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett, in his report to the city council Tuesday, said now that the holiday season is upon us, there has been an uptick of alcohol-related incidents in the city resulting in arrests.
Bissett also reported that dispatch handled almost 2,700 calls during November with nearly 1,200 incidents coming from those calls.
Bissett praised the responders, fire and police and everyone else involved, for their quick response and handling of the fire at a local business earlier this week.
