Jo Co Commission OKs TANF CPI Contract

Johnson County’s Commissioners approved and accepted the contract for the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Community Partnership Initiative (TANF CPI) grant funding for the current fiscal year.

Commissioner’s Assistant Kristen Kenyon gave more details on the grant award from the state.

The commission accepted the contract to distribute the funding to the three entities in the amount of $18,503.33 each.

Along with the county’s administrative fee of $5,490 the total contract amount is $61,000.
