Requests for next year’s Johnson County Arts & Humanities Council Art & Music Festival have been approved by the Buffalo City Council.
Bonnie Klasinski, with the JCAHC, explained why she was making the requests so far in advance, and talked about what the group will be doing.
The festival, which will feature art and music in Crazy Woman Square, chalk drawing on the sidewalks, and vendors throughout the day will be on July 29 of 2023.
The approved requests were for a street closure on Main Street from 6 to 11 p.m. for the street dance, and a closure on Fetterman Street from Main Street to Lobban Avenue from 9 a.m. until 11 p.m., as well as a noise ordinance variance from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. for music.
